Our Crafting and Fine Art journey

My love of illustrating started at school and has continued all through a varied creative career from poster art to greeting cards as a Creative Head and Art Director To Designer and illustrator of childrens books, cute plush toys and 3 dimentional characters.

My attic studio is sat on a hill top village in West Yorkshire, overlooking the Moor. I get wonderful views of nature and life passing by.

I have a varied style and ability and enjoy working in all mediums, by hand and digitally.

As well as illustrating wildlife I also love to work on pet portraits. Married to my creative soul mate Michelle, we share our home with three rescue cats Ozzy, Belle and Dixie. Being close to the Dales there’s little excuse not to go out on my bike to recharge my batteries, as a keen photographer I’m always aware of my surroundings and like to capture the world around us.

Our favourite places are Cornwall’s South East coast, the North York Moors, Dumfries and Galloway, locally Bolton Abbey Estate and anywhere with a tea room for a pit stop!
